When does GiftMagpie remind me?
At 9am on each reminder day you picked. The free version reminds you a month and a week before; Premium lets you choose other times too. Every occasion also gets a reminder on the day itself. Each reminder says whether you have sorted a gift yet.
Is GiftMagpie free?
Yes. The free version covers up to 5 people, with unlimited occasions and gifts. Premium is a one-time unlock, not a subscription, and adds unlimited people, your own reminder times, budgets, the Spending screen and Google Drive backup.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up. Everything you enter is stored on your phone. Google sign-in is only used if you back up to Google Drive with Premium.
Can one occasion be for several people?
Yes. Add Christmas once and tick everyone it applies to. Each person keeps their own gift ideas and history for it, and you can add more people to it later.
What if I add an occasion that is already close?
If a reminder time has already passed when you add it, say a month-ahead reminder for something 25 days away, you get one reminder the next morning, so you still have a heads-up. After that you get the reminders still to come, and the one on the day.
Is GiftMagpie on iPhone?
No, GiftMagpie is Android only.
